About This Seminar

Dr. Kumar will discuss how India’s economy has become the most dynamic in the world while also integrating closely with the world economy. He will also discuss how besides tapping the opportunities created by global economic integration, regional economic integration in Asia could serve as an additional engine of growth for India and other developing countries in Asia by facilitating trade and investment. There is growing recognition in Asia of the importance of broader regional economic integration to which India can contribute to and benefit from. Dr. Kumar will examine the relevance and potential of broader Asian economic integration, areas of cooperation, and possible approaches to its evolvement.
