This event is convened to bring together individuals and activists who are working toward returning stability to Indonesia. As part of the Asian Voices Seminar Series, as well as the follow-up event to the Asia Society Symposium in New York City, "Beyond the New Order: Decentralization's Effect on Communities in Indonesia," the seminar will draw on conclusions made during the symposium and provide the speakers opportunities to share their views on Indonesia's democratic transition. The speakers and panelists will discuss the role of the U.S. in assisting Indonesia through its numerous and varied conflicts.
