President Bush has just returned from a major tour of East
Asia at a time when his statement on North Korea as part of
"the Evil Axis" and his plan for a missile defense system have
altered the relationship between the U.S. and its East Asian
allies. What did the Bush administration accomplish during the
president's stops in Japan, Korea, and China? How is the trip
seen from the perspective of Tokyo, Seoul, and Beijing? This
Asian Voices round table will feature four prominent Asia experts
who will discuss the impact of the trip on America's relations
with East Asia and the critical issues that are on the horizon.
